Usually Pink theme or colored product are introduced to support or promote a charity event but but not with this new Microsoft Zune maybe it is targeting more towards the feminine users.

The new Pink Zune is coming to you on May 1st this year and will feature a 30GB of memory and a built-in FM tuner among other things. As a built-in feature, you share using WiFi any selected full-length sample tracks, playlists, photos or your own tracks directly to and from a nearby Zune unit.

It allows you to listen to the full-length songs that you receive up to three times in three days, pick the ones you like and buy them the next time you sync up. You can discover new music in the Zune Marketplace too.

IMO, Microsoft should go with a flash-based Zune (a-la iPod Nano) instead of disk-based when they first introduce Zune last year. But hey it ’s better late than never, earlier this year MS revealed that the company will introduce its first flash-based Zune music player, a direct challenge to Apple’s iPod nano but you have to wait before this Zune hit the store shelf. Oh well, Im not even sure how this gadget would look like but engadget have a couple of them.

The social is now in Orange color. Just recently, couple bloggers spotted on Ebay a limited edition of Microsoft Zune in Orange color but it seems like nobody was interested on it because the number of bid is still zero. Is it maybe because the bid starts high at $750? but hey if it is really RARE then the starting bid amount should not be a factor for a collector or to a real Zune fanboys/girls.

I don’t know, but maybe some Ebayers might think this product is not real (orange color) because we don’t hear/read any sort of announcement but this should make the item more valueble right?

I tried searching it on Ebay but can’t find item, only a few items returned but mostly orange silicon cover, I guess that’s not it.

OK, enough already of these Zune stuff, I hope you already got your new gadget from Microsoft and started enjoying or still figuring out how things works, but if you’re still contemplating if you need or want this baby then you probably have to watch other people how they unpack this gadget.

Well, after watching the video I could only say that MS need to improve their Zune packaging that would also benefit a one hand person.
