Wow this new desktop Asus Eee Box looks really slick. Just look at the above photo compared side-by-side with Playstation 3, it is slim, tiny and looks not much bigger than an Eee PC 901. This gadget will cost a mere $429 when it goes on sale in coming weeks4 to 5 weeks. But what does it look like up close?
TechCrunch blog post by Michael Arrington is generating a lot of discussion response from gadget lovers on the internet. The idea is…
The machine is as thin as possible, runs low end hardware and has a single button for powering it on and off, headphone jacks, a built in camera for video, low end speakers, and a microphone. It will have Wifi, maybe one USB port, a built in battery, half a Gigabyte of RAM, a 4-Gigabyte solid state hard drive. Data input is primarily through an iPhone-like touch screen keyboard. It runs on linux and Firefox. It would be great to have it be built entirely on open source hardware, but including Skype for VOIP and video calls may be a nice touch, too.
What do you think? Im thinking of Kindle right now.
The legendary classic rock group Journey (or some fans call them the J-Boys) announced that ZVUE will be selling an exclusive MP3 Player pre-loaded with all 22 tracks from the new Journey double-CD, “Revelation”.
The Journey-branded player will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide beginning July 22. The product retails for $39.88 and will be presented in gift-box packaging, designed to feature Journey with their new lead singer Arnel Pineda which they found on YouTube.
Each disc of the double-CD will feature 11 tracks; one will feature brand new material from the band while the other will feature re-recorded classic Journey hits.
And I think it’s not just me because people are lining up just to grab this gadget in time for holidays, maybe for their personal use or reselling it on Ebay. According to the company press release the ASUS Eee PC is America’s Most Wanted Christmas Gift.
In the two weeks since it’s launch in the US, the Eee PC has already sold ten thousand sets,” said Sunny Han, Director of ASUS Global Brand Center – confirming the Eee PC’s massive US sales figures. By the end of this year, the projected sales goal of 350 thousand will be met; and next year that figure is projected at 3 to 5 million.
Wow!! days after the debut of Amazon Kindle and you’re thinking of getting one for holidays then you’re probably have to wait because it is now sold out! but if you’re really need one then why not try Ebay but of course for a price if found one. Good job Jeff!
