Not cool enough Mac gal

She is “Lauren” star in a blockbuster Microsoft ad about a recent college graduate who are looking to purchase a speedier notebook laptop with 17″ screen for under $1K but she cannot afford a Mac and said “I’m just not cool enough to be a Mac person“, she end up getting an HP instead running on Microsoft Vista for $699. Apple warns of iPod and Mac shortage

I thought we’re currently on recession but according to AppleInsider report that Apple issued a bulletins to some of its partner strongly suggesting that they should stock their inventory with iPods and MacBooks because these item will become extremely limited in coming weeks

Apple “strongly suggested” that resellers bring in—or place immediate lump orders for—approximately 4 weeks worth of their top selling iPod models. Supplies of the players would start to become extremely limited in the next seven days, the bulletin said.

Maybe Apple is expecting the economy to jump once the holiday seasons comes. Well, I hope so too!

Your idea for US$200 Web Tablet

TechCrunch blog post by Michael Arrington is generating a lot of discussion response from gadget lovers on the internet. The idea is…

The machine is as thin as possible, runs low end hardware and has a single button for powering it on and off, headphone jacks, a built in camera for video, low end speakers, and a microphone. It will have Wifi, maybe one USB port, a built in battery, half a Gigabyte of RAM, a 4-Gigabyte solid state hard drive. Data input is primarily through an iPhone-like touch screen keyboard. It runs on linux and Firefox. It would be great to have it be built entirely on open source hardware, but including Skype for VOIP and video calls may be a nice touch, too.

What do you think? Im thinking of Kindle right now.

Apple site is offline…
