iPhone 3G Leads U.S. Mobile Phone market

The US smartphone market is heating up and according to market research firm NPD Group the iPhone is leading the pack.

1. Apple iPhone 3G
2. Motorola RAZR V3 (all models)
3. RIM Blackberry Curve (all models)
4. LG Rumor
5. LG enV2

Im still don’t have iPhone 3G but my Blackberry Curve still work just fine.

T-Mobile HTC G1 Powered by Google Video


A few hours after T-Mobile formally debut its much awaited HTC G1 running on Android OS this morning videos started to popup online including this one on YouTube. Couple of out of this world catch phrases like “Newerer”,”funnerer”,”smarterer”, “connecteder” etc.. but looking at this morning demo feed it looks like it has a potential to be “betterer” than iPhone.

Just a reminder if you heard Jobs “Let’s Rock!” speech you should now heading your URL to Apple.com to see if those improvement he mentioned is just a matter of firmware update. What’s available for your iPod touch is the v2.1 firmware update, this will improve lots of things on your touch. Old firmware for update would cause you $9.95 but for those whose touch comes with v2.0 fw then it’s yours for FREE.

T-Mobile is first to launch mobile with Google Android

T-Mobile is poise to introduce this year’s first Android power mobile phone to go head to head with Apple iPhone. The gadget according to some rumors and leaked video is an HTC Dream. It will be equiped with a touchscreen ,WiFi capable for Internet access and slider QWERTY keys.

From 2gb to 64gb storage how cool is that?.. did I say it also sporting a GPS system? Well, don’t jump just yet, it’s just a rumor about the new generation of iPod Touch coming. Im not surprised that it needed that much storage juice primarily because it has to support the GPS data and maps.

But if this rumors are true then I might need to get ready current aging Garmin for retirement and switch to iPod Touch.

Apple warns of iPod and Mac shortage

I thought we’re currently on recession but according to AppleInsider report that Apple issued a bulletins to some of its partner strongly suggesting that they should stock their inventory with iPods and MacBooks because these item will become extremely limited in coming weeks

Apple “strongly suggested” that resellers bring in—or place immediate lump orders for—approximately 4 weeks worth of their top selling iPod models. Supplies of the players would start to become extremely limited in the next seven days, the bulletin said.

Maybe Apple is expecting the economy to jump once the holiday seasons comes. Well, I hope so too!
