The machine is as thin as possible, runs low end hardware and has a single button for powering it on and off, headphone jacks, a built in camera for video, low end speakers, and a microphone. It will have Wifi, maybe one USB port, a built in battery, half a Gigabyte of RAM, a 4-Gigabyte solid state hard drive. Data input is primarily through an iPhone-like touch screen keyboard. It runs on linux and Firefox. It would be great to have it be built entirely on open source hardware, but including Skype for VOIP and video calls may be a nice touch, too.

Apple Inc. will be launching its new version of iPhone called 3G iPhone this Friday. The new iPhone will utilize the 3G wireless technology and also added new features such as GPS mapping, support for Microsoft Exchange, better sound quality, added battery life, WiFi connectivity and more.

Unlike the previous iPhone, to activate it you’ll have to be at AT&T store, I guess this it to make sure that AT&T is also in the (fees) loop.

WOW! lots of rumors happening before Apple unwraps its 3G iPhone. Lots of new stuff like it’s running on 3G network, thinner edges, full plastic back, flush headphone jack, 2.0 firmware, GPS and a lot more the best of all the 8GB is only $199 but, of course you have to be lock with AT&T for 2 years.. to bad Im still 1.5years away of my current contract.

This guy used to put into blender anything and let people see what will happen (as if we’re not sure what’s gonna happen) and now he’s doing it to a (poor) iPhone.. will the iPhone blend? dumb question BTW as we all know that it is not blender-proof. Good marketing stunt.. bad for iPhone.

It’s been two days now that most ifans are enjoying their slick and shiny new iPhone but, others are doing some kind of experiment like taking it apart to see what’s inside or maybe learn how to disassemble it? At last, after so many rumors and speculations about the exact US release date of the new iPhone,  Apple has released three new iPhone television commercials which end with “Coming June 29” which I believe is “the iPhone date” to be released.  The three TV ads has a captioned  “Never Been an iPod” “How to” and “Calamari” which features a couple of iPhone’s capabilities such as playing music, view movie, using Multi-Touch screen and screen layout shifting when a holder turn the device vertical and horizontal.
