Umm.. you might want to think it over again and re-read the Nexus One Terms Of Sale because even though you saved lots of money on the bundle (aka subsidized) plan the Early Termination Fee (ETF) or Google call it equipment subsidy recovery fee (aka“Equipment Recovery Fee”) might open a hole on your check book. How much? $350 if you cancel within the first 120 days of owning that little Nexus One baby but beyond that who knows, again read the term of sale fine prints. For those of us who are contemplating of getting a Nexus some day, the unlocked version looks like a better option.
Okey, now that Nexus One (aka Google phone, Android) is wide open lets compare it with iPhone and how much money we need to own of these gadgets. Although, if money is not an issue then you can purchase the Nexus One unlocked hardware for $529 and get an iPhone through AT&T. Back to money matters, BillShrink already came up with the total cost of ownership comparison and it seems like owning a Nexus One is little bit cheaper the iPhone.
Not sure if this video is real (since Google didn’t have the official announcement.. yet) or not but looking at it looks like this gadget is pretty slick. You decide.
Stats are not coming out of Google’s mouth but this is according to AndroLib, the Adroid Market app store has reached the 20,000 mark, doubled in just five months.
