TV on your PDA

Looks like LG is getting very clever with their product development, the way I look at it this is the future. You would see people in the next few years (maybe months) having their own form of entertainment in their hand.

Gadget for classical lover

Here’s a new gadget specifically for classical music lover. Well, most classical music lovers are deep of pocket but only few of them (that doesn’t include me). This stuff is worth $899 they’re selling from their own website Olive Media Products .

This gadget copies your CDs to a hard drive as a PC or an iPod does at top quality the way classical music should be done.

TV is coming to your Mobile

I believe this is the next big thing that will happen to your mobile gadgets. Lots of technology companies are pointing their big guns to these next generation form of “entertainment information and data on the go” which I think is a great.

People used to laugh at Apple’s plan to play video on iPod but now guess what who’s laughing now. Of course who would you think is going to watch Despirate housewives on a small screen when you can watch it on a big screen, well the answer is it depend on where you are, of course if you’re in your own home and have access to your prescious remote and your wide screen HDTV TV then it doesn’t make sense, but if you’re stuck is the airport, train station or even bus station and you want to entertain yourself while waiting then pulling out your video iPod and watch the movie is a big deal.

I read the news today that Circuit City website was down yesterday because of rush of hits when the news spread that they’re going to sell Xbox 360 ahead of the Tuesday lunch sale.

Unlock my mobile phone

Next week will be my last week of my contract with the current mobile service provider so I did start shopping for a reasonable service based on my current phone usage and lifestyle so compared services and fees and I ended-up with the Cingular, the company that purchase At&T wireless so basically I didn’t switch provider just the name.

I also decided to keep my mobile phone because I really like my high-end (a year ago) Moto phone and I don’t want to spend another dime (you guess it, Im cheap!) just to have a nice slick phone with all those bells and whistles.

I called Cingular, my current provider (former AT&T wireless) to have my phone unlock but the guy on the other line said they don’t unlock phone.. I said what?? I purchased this phone for the tune $299 a year ago and you just want me to trow it away? He said yes! that’s right! really a clever answer. Anyway, I ended up in Google and searched how to unlock my cell phone and it came up a bunch for results which in the end I sent it to a technician to unlock it for $10 + S&H which I believe is still reasonable than just throwing my high-end phone just like that.

My question is why is Cingular doing this stuff, when I was with T-Mobile I didn’t get this kind of answer when I requested to unlock my phone which is BTW is pretty fast.

I want my Xbox 360 now!

I guess im kind of late to pre-order my xbox since most electronic stores (on-line or local stores) sold out their xbox stocks ahead of US lunch date. Lots of people are posting xbox 360 items on Ebay even though they haven’t have the actual console in hand (is Ebay allow this practice??) and according to reports Ebay sold more than 9,100 units already.

Xbox 360
I found out today the Circuit City still offering Xbox pre-order until 2:00EST but when I tried to open their website Im getting a timeout error! Oh well I’ll probably let this holiday pass without Xbox 360 it probably saves my time and money.
